RESILIENCY

this is the time for it. and you know what? we’re all resilient. resiliency is in our nature. it’s what makes us who we are. no matter what happens, we keep persevering, why? because that’s the only way to survive.

what i’m interested in is not resiliency, but adaptability. how are people responding to what’s going on? are they playing a victim, blaming the corona virus for their downfall in business? for their loss of a job? or, are they seeing this as an opportunity? an opportunity to reinvent their business, reasses their lives, redefine who they are and what they want to do.

one fact about life is that it’s unpredictable. and within that unpredictability, things like the economy go up, and they come down. no different than the vicissitudes in our own lives. what matters is not what’s happening, but how we’re choosing to respond to it. are you using this time to get bitter, or get better?

we’re all resilient. every single one of us. we wouldn’t still be here if we weren’t. but my question to you is how are you choosing to adapt? how will this historical event profoundly change the way you live or the way you do business? as someone once told me, every setback is an opportunity for a comeback. and we all have that same opportunity. so how will you choose to come back?
